PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGES:
This Thursday, May 11, Morton HS will be having their Spring Fling. From 5pm to 5:45pm, our theater department will perform their One Act Play, Wild Strawberries, at the activity center downtown. From 6pm to 6:45pm in the CTE wing, there will be a meet and greet reception for the new superintendent, Mario Aguirre, and the new HS Assistant Principal, Luis Puga. During that time, there will also be a CTE Showcase in which our CTE teachers and students demonstrate their workspaces and skills for the public. Finally from 7pm to 8pm, our 5th-12th grade bands will perform their spring concert in the HS gymnasium. Please come out and support your Indians and Maidens!

Meet Savannah Gee, one of Morton ISD's new teacher hires for the 2023-2024 School Year!
Savannah grew up in Littlefield, Texas. After high school, she attended South Plains College, earning an Associate of Arts in teaching in 2021. From South Plains, she transferred to Texas Tech University to earn a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. Next year will be her first year teaching, but she has been at Ralls High School for an entire school year! When asked about her goal for next year, she said, "My goal this year is to not only teach English, but I hope also to teach my students that success is rooted in hard work and consistency rather than talent. I am thrilled to be part of the Morton family!"
